This 5 ohm coil can be used for most 1965-1984 Harley panhead, shovelhead or ironhead Sportster models with points ignition and any 1985 through 1999 big twin evolution and Sportster models that have been converted to points ignition. It will also work for any Harley using the Dyna-S dual fire electronic ignition.
